Fair game: furniture, debris, general clutter
Couches, patio sets, grills, boxes, broken outdoor gear, mattresses, and general household clutter are standard haul-away. Photo it and you'll get a flat price.
Off-limits: hazardous waste and chemicals
Paint, solvents, pool chemicals, motor oil, pesticides, and propane tanks can't go in a normal load — they need Maricopa County household-hazardous-waste drop-off. A reputable hauler will refuse them and tell you where to take them.
Special handling: fridges, freezers, and ACs
Anything with refrigerant (refrigerators, freezers, window AC units) has to be processed separately under EPA rules. Most small haulers, us included, won't take them; they go to an appliance recycler.
Recyclables: e-waste and tires
Electronics and tires have their own Chandler/Maricopa drop-offs and often a small fee. They shouldn't go to a landfill, and an honest hauler will route them correctly or tell you so up front.
